6 Cups Tomato juice
3 Beef bouillon cubes OR 3 Tsp. Beef bouillon granules
2 Tsp. Grated horseradish
1/2 Tsp. Ground black pepper
Put all ingredients in a large saucepan (use a pan that is non-reactive to the acid in the tomato juice). Bring to a simmer. DO NOT BOIL. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve in mugs. Can also be prepared in a crock pot. Be sure to crush the bouillon cubes and set the crock pot on low for 2-4 hours.
